What Qualifies for CCP?

To determine if an activity qualifies for CCP, refer to the dropdown menu below for categories and examples. As a general rule, any activity related to a specific item on the exam content outline of your 糖心原创vlog certification will qualify. You can view your specific exam content outline for further details.

In general, 糖心原创vlog accepts activities that meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Enhances your ability to perform your healthcare job.
  • Broadens your knowledge in the healthcare field.
  • Prepares you for advanced healthcare management, a healthcare degree, or another program of study in the healthcare field.

Qualifying Activities

Professional Education 鈻�

Activities

Professional training completed through your employer, certifying organization, or online provider.

  • New hire training, orientation, or any onboarding courses are NOT considered acceptable CE activities.

Examples

  • Employer-required training (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, safety courses).
  • CPR Training (theoretical + hands-on demonstration).
  • Healthcare-related seminars and conferences.
  • Volunteer work (e.g., health fairs).
  • EPIC Courses.

Supporting Documents

Proof of attendance (e.g., certificate of attendance or training transcript) showing:

  • Name of the training provider issuing credit.
  • Title and description of the course.
  • Participant's name.
  • Date of the program.
  • Length of the program (completion time or CEUs awarded).
    • If both completion time and CEUs awarded are listed, the CEUs awarded by the provider are the amount eligible to be claimed for continuing education credit.
  • Validation or sign-off by the official presenting the program.

Preparing and delivering a presentation related to your certification or other healthcare field.

Examples

  • Prepare and present an instructional presentation or workshop related to your certification or other healthcare field. To be eligible for earning points, presentations or workshops must be beyond the scope of your job.

Supporting Documents

Proof of presentation (e.g., conference agenda, program listing, speaker confirmation, or letter from the sponsoring organization) showing:

  • Presenter’s name.
  • Title or topic of the presentation.
  • Date of the presentation.
  • Name of the organization, conference, employer, school, association, healthcare organization, or sponsoring entity.

Organizational Participation 鈻�

Activities

Active and formal participation on a committee related to your certification or healthcare field.

Examples

  • Serving on a committee through a professional organization or at your place of employment for Standards or Safety, Quality Improvement, Patient Advocacy, Process Improvement, Policy Review, etc.

  • Acknowledgment from the organization (e.g., meeting minutes).

Tracking CCP Points

CCP points must be completed every three years by the end of your certification cycle. Here's how to stay organized:

Helpful Tip: Plan to complete and log approximately one-third of your required points each year to easily maintain your certification.

Log into your portal to record and track your activities throughout each three-year cycle.

Automatic Advancement

Points recorded online, along with payment of annual fees, will automatically advance you into your next CCP cycle.

Seamless CE Recording

CE points earned through the 糖心原创vlog Learning Center are automatically recorded for you.

Document Submission

糖心原创vlog does not review or accept documents unless you are selected for the Annual CCP Audit or Reactivation purposes.

Be Prepared for a Compliance Audit

糖心原创vlog conducts annual audits to ensure compliance with CCP requirements. If you are randomly selected for an audit, you must provide supporting documentation for your reported CCP activities.

  • Recommendation:
    Keep all supporting documentation organized in a file so it is readily available if requested by 糖心原创vlog.
  • Consequences of Non-Compliance:
    Members unable to demonstrate compliance will be decertified. To regain active and certified status, they must complete the reactivation process.

Has Your Certification Lapsed?

When applying for reactivation through CCP compliance, you must:

  • Submit supporting documentation verifying participation in all stated activities, ensuring they total the required number of points.
  • Ensure all activities were completed within the past three years.

If your submitted activities do not clearly meet CCP criteria, you may be required to explain and defend why they qualify.
