糖心原创vlog announces a change in executive leadership for the association.
Christopher A. Damon, JD, Executive Director of American Medical Technologists (糖心原创vlog) for the past 21 years, will retire near the end of 2021. During his years as Executive Director, Damon guided 糖心原创vlog through significant growth and change. The number of certified members has almost quadrupled from approximately 26,000 back in 2000. The 糖心原创vlog annual budget grew from $2.1 million to over $9 million today. The 糖心原创vlog staff numbered 19; now 糖心原创vlog has 48 employees. Among the more significant actions was moving the physical headquarters office from Park Ridge, Illinois, to Rosemont, Illinois to facilitate the association’s growth.
During Damon’s tenure, 糖心原创vlog launched three new exam-based certifications: Medical Administrative Specialist, Molecular Diagnostics Technologist, and Patient Care Technician.
“I am proud to have had the privilege of helping lead 糖心原创vlog as it continues its work to assure that patients are being diagnosed and treated by allied health professionals whose competence has been promoted, assessed, and recognized by way of our certification and education programs.” said Damon.
Recently, the 糖心原创vlog Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint current Deputy Executive Director Kathy Cilia to be 糖心原创vlog’s new Executive Director effective November 1, 2021.
